Phtography By Dustin Olsen | Fine Art Template

Photoshop CS5 | MAC
I actually rather enjoyed doing this template. I really liked out this turned out and I’m pretty sure that I’ll be using this technique more often.
Editing:
I used my shapes tool to create 5 perfect squares and then created clipping masks over top of it so that I could drop my Sunset Panorama and Wagon Wheel into it. I also used an element from my signature to include here that I generated in Adobe illustrator. I added a stroke and drop shadow around the boxes as well to help it not be so flat.

Canon Rebel XS | 50MM | F/ 3.5 – 1/160 | ISO:200 | EV: 0
I took this panorama while trying to do the Night and Lights assignment the week before because I really liked how the purple was showing up across the mountains. Didn’t have a particular purpose in taking it but it sure worked out in using it for this assignment.
Editing:
I used Photoshop to stitch the image together and then I used camera raw to process the colors. I used actions to defog the image and increase contrast in the sky. Something that I like about this picture is how you can still see the road and the city but it’s not your main focus.

Canon Rebel XS | 42MM | F/ 6.3 – 1/100 | ISO:200 | EV: 0
This is an original picture I had used for a Photoshop Filters assignment but thought that it would work here nicely. I honestly only included it in my fine art template because it was part of the requirement.
Editing:
Camera Raw Processing. Boosted colors. Added vignette. Increased blacks, clarity and vibrance.
