Rexburg’s Main Street. I figured this would be a street busy enough to capture some moving light and do some of my other night pictures. However, I really don’t like having to wait till the night falls to take pictures. Especially when it gets cold at night in the middle of June. However, I just set up the tripod on the corner and set the shutter speed for 4 seconds. This wasn’t my favorite project to do but I still had fun.
Editing:
I did camera raw processing by boosting colors. Then I added my logo.

I also took this picture on Main Street in Rexburg. The lights in this picture came from some stop lights, car lights and markets, and building lights. I guess you never really know what to expect when trying to take pictures like this, but I thought this was pretty cool. The shutter was open for 4 seconds.

I did camera raw processing by boosting colors. I also did the “Boost” action to defog the image. Then I added my logo.

I did this light painting at a construction site one night as I was walking by. I found a really dark place to try some light painting. I’m actually quiet horrible at this and really didn’t enjoy doing it, but I did manage to write my name rather well on some plywood. I had the camera open for 12 seconds. It’s hard to keep moving so that you don’t show up in the picture at the same time you are trying to paint…

No editing… Then I added my logo.
